The Division's activities span several key areas:

Research and Technical Insights: Through rigorous research and the publication of findings, we provide evidence-based insights and recommendations that are pivotal for informed policymaking and sector performance.

Policy Development and Advocacy: We engage in policy work to influence decision-making and promote policies that encourage growth and sustainable practices within the energy and water sectors.

Collaboration and Project Initiatives: Our collaborative projects aim to address challenges and exploit opportunities for innovation, bringing together government bodies, private entities, and civil society for collective action.

Networking and Professional Development: We organize events and workshops that serve as a nexus for professionals to exchange knowledge, build networks, and advance sectoral expertise.

Mentorship and Capacity Building: Our mentorship programs and training initiatives are designed to upskill the emerging talent pool, ensuring the next generation is equipped to tackle sector-specific challenges.

Awareness and Resource Sharing: As a hub of resources, we raise awareness on key issues and ensure accessibility to sector-related information and best practices.

Membership

The Water and Energy Division should encompass a multidisciplinary group of professionals with expertise in water resources, energy production, renewable technologies, and environmental sustainability. Members are expected to be fervently dedicated to the advancement and sustainable management of Afghanistan's water and energy sectors, willing to engage actively in the division's initiatives.

Meetings

The Water and Energy Division should convene regularly (e.g., monthly or quarterly) to assess progress, discuss current initiatives, and strategize for future activities. Accurate records of these meetings should be maintained and shared with the broader Afghanistan Professionals Hub community to foster a transparent and collaborative environment.
